Hey, hey Week 17. I see you. Also, I watched a LOT of Netflix/HBO this week. 

This week was hard for me to lay out because I had a bunch of really dark photos and some lighter ones. After playing around for a bit I decided to just split it in half. One side light, one side dark. Boom.

Can't wait for some warmer weather so I can use my Hello Summer cards.

I discovered Gentleman Jack on HBO and I. am. hooked.

Also, happy Earth Day. 

Smothered chicken burritos for life. I'll be posting the recipe soon. Super easy to put together because I cheat and use a rotisserie chicken. 

Lilly asked if she would play the Wii Saturday night so we moved the coffee table out of the way and she boogied down to Tina Turner on Just Dance. 

Ok, A Quiet Place. Enjoyed it. Hereditary. What the ever-loving F did I just watch? Seriously. So weird. I'll never get that time back in my life.

Rick met Nick, Tim & Missy up in Boston Monday morning so Nick could get sworn in and shipped out to Ft. Benning in George. Super duper proud of this kid. We'll head down in August for his boot camp graduation.

Hi! It's the first Friday of the month, which means it's time for a new collection release!

The new Messy Life Collection will definitely be a favorite for a long time to come. The colors and patterns are so versatile and I had a lot of fun making my first ever TN spread. Why am I just now jumping on the TN wagon? Someone please let me know. These things are awesome!

The Messy Life theme is kinda perfect right now. While the actual onboarding process has been a breeze (thanks lovely folk at B&W), the process of getting up there has definitely been chaotic and messy.

Yep, just like that. 

Seriously though, how awesome is that red floral paper? I'd love wallpaper my walk-in closet with it.

I thought I'd pop on here today and share how to make a super easy, super quick Happy Planner sticker book. There must be a million different ways to create one but I wanted to use what I had on hand.

Materials/tools:

1" gold discs from Staples' Arc System

Set of 3 tabbed dividers from The Happy Planner

Leftover Happy Planner pages

Happy Planner sticker books

Glue or adhesive

Paper trimmer

I plan on using this primarily for the stickers I use in my social media planner so I went through all of my books and took out those individual sheets.  I also had some old unused pages that I removed from my planner. Using a glue stick, I adhered each sticker page to the planner page. If you line up the edge of the sticker sheet to the calendar lines, it works like a charm. Then a quick trim using your trimmer and you're done! 

Unfortunately I chose WAY too many sticker sheets so I could easily make 3 or 4 books. The best part of using a ring bound book is that you can easily take out the sticker sheets that are used up and add more.

You could easily use cardstock as the page base and use the Happy Planner punch but since I don't have one I figured using the old pages would work just as well.

Even though I'm using the dividers, I haven't quite grouped the stickers that well. Just trying to get them all in the book.

I did keep most of the phrases in the first section and might keep all of the boxes and arrows and such in the second part. Or maybe I'll just buy bigger rings and add ALL THE STICKERS!!!

This is SO much easier than carrying around all of the stickers books I have, and there are plenty!

I've really flipped the switch these past 10 days. We go from bright and bold Summer cards to soft, pastel Winter ones.

I can't wait for some warmer weather so I can start incorporating these into my projects!

Super happy with how these turned out. I will be doing some holiday journaling cards as well so stay tuned.
