You guys like versatile stamps, right? I know you do. Which is why I love that Christine brought back two stamp favorites from 2016: Do The Work & For The Record
These babies work like a charm in my Get To Work Book! Add some washi and some bright alpha stickers and suddenly I LOVE my monthly view. Next month is going to be super busy so I'm able to stamp everything down to keep me on track.
I also added a few stamps from the Passport: California set (the waves, In The City & stars) See? Versatile.
Also, always make time for break dancing.

Day 2 of #30daysoflists!
Today's prompt is, "An extra day off calls for..."
I purchased this gold foil transparency at Michael's and I believe it's still available.
I love how the floral paper behind peeks through!
And yes, I noticed the typo AFTER I had already printed it out. :)
Fonts used:
Header - Artefak Clean Typeface
Main text - Avenir Next

Fear not, you didn't miss last month's Reading Recap. In July I didn't pick up one single book. Not one. Not sure if I burned myself out or what was going on. Although I did watch a LOT of Netflix + HBOGo + Amazon Prime Video. So there's that.
I really enjoyed this book. The setting was perfect and it kept me guessing the whole way though. It's one of those, Is she losing her mind or not?, kinda books. If you enjoyed The Woman in Cabin 10, you'll love this one as well.
For my September Book of the Month pick, I chose The Chestnut Man by Søren Sveistrup. It's supposed to be super gory, which is good since I'm a trauma junkie at heart.
My current To Read list:
The Reckless Oath We Made by Bryn Greewood (BOTM - August)
The Whisper Man by Alex North (BOTM - August)
The Gifted School by Bruce Holsinger (BOTM - July) - I'm about 1/3 of the way through this one
Three Women by Lisa Taddeo (BOTM - July)
When We Believed In Mermaids by Barbara O'Neal (Amazon Prime)
Match Making for Beginners by Maddie Dawson (Amazon Prime)
Only The Rain by Randall Silvis (Amazon Prime)
Here to Stay by Mark Edwards (Amazon First Reads)
Don't Even Breathe by Keith Houghton (Amazon Prime)
Girl Most Likely by Max Allan Collins (Amazon Prime)
Of course, I actually have WAY more books to read but I plan on focusing on these few first.
What are you currently reading? What haven't you been able to put down?
Happy Reading!
Day 1 of #30daysoflists is here!
The prompt for today is "I woke up feeling like I just might:"

30 Days of Lists for September is almost here!
If you're new to this project, it was started by Kam of Campfire Chic. (Definitely check out her website!) It runs a few times a year and is a daily prompt list making kinda project. Aka, perfect for me.
For this run, I decided to use my clear acrylic album that I purchased from Jamaica. She's currently sold out of this one but has a 4x5 seaglass album (which I'll be purchasing soon) and a clear 3x4 album that would be perfect for all of your extra pocket pages cards.
This year I'm trying my best to not purchase anything new (save for pocket pages when I need them, and December Daily items.) I went through my stash of cardstock and picked out 31 pieces of paper, trimmed them down and punched holes in them. They're not in any particular order. Keeping it easy over here.
For the front page, I pulled out my embellishments stash and adhered everything with Zots and my trusty purple Elmers glue stick. The green foam alpha stickers are from an old pack of Dear Lizzy Thickers.
So many patterns & colors! I even added a few pieces of transparency. I'll be creating my lists in Photoshop, printing them out and gluing them to each page.

Where my foodies at?
The new Everyday Explorers Co. Food Coma stamp set was truly made for me.
It gets me.
For those of you who don't know, I made the Creative Team (Squeeeee!!!) and I am SO excited to have the opportunity to be part of an amazing group of ladies who inspire me on the daily. Can't wait to see what everyone creates with this new release.
I've been wanting to make a 4x4 I Ate This album forever so I jumped all over the opportunity to use this set. It's a large 6x8 and is FULL of all sorts of awesome stamps. Tacos, anyone?
For the front page, I stamped directly onto some vellum with black StazOn to make sure it stayed put. Worked like a charm. I added some scraps I had left over and an enamel dot and called it a day.
Whenever we go out to eat, I make sure I snag one or two business cards to add to my albums. For this one, I cut down a gold script transparency and then added a card to the front and back so I was able to get all of the restaurant info.
One of the things I love the most about this set is the ability to layer stamps. In the photo above, I used three different stamps to create one design. Tip: start with the inner stamp and work your way out to help with getting everything centered properly. That was definitely a trial and error on my part. Also, how cute is the front desk area at The Laughing Monk? Just had to snap a photo.
Another layered stamp. Love it! Plus, I can use the circular stamps for other non-food related projects. Gotta love versatile stamp sets, am I right?
Check out the whole set below or find it over at Everyday Explorers Co. here.
Happy Crafting!
And Happy Eating :)
